Kovalan is a Board Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and has 25 years of consulting and operations experience. Prior to employment with LP Management Services, Kovalan worked 14 years for Wausau Insurance Companies, a leading provider of insurance services. Kovalan has experience working with Fortune 500 companies in the development and implementation of their safety and health programs, as well as their risk management programs. He was also the Director of Loss Prevention for a Fortune 500 facility and mobile services company. Kovalan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science Technology Degree from Ball State University. He is a credentialed outreach instructor for the Construction Safety Council of Illinois and also for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) with 10 and 30 Hour General Industry courses. Kovalan is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).
Gibson is a Board Certified Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician (OHST). He has extensive experience conducting facility safety assessments with concentration on critical data center environments. Gibson is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). He is credentialed through OSHA to provide the 10 and 30 Hour General Industry courses. Gibson previously worked as a safety technician for an industrial painting contractor where he gained extensive experience in managing confined space hazards . He is qualified to instruct competent or qualified person courses for confined space, lockout-tagout, electrical safety, NFPA 70E, and fall protection. Gibson graduated with top honors from Indiana University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs with an Environmental Management concentration.
Elwell is a Board Certified Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician (OHST). He is also credentialed through NFPA as a Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP). Elwell has a rich background in the US Navy as a Nuclear Electrician of 22 years. He held many roles, most notably as the Divisional Team Leader for Reactor and Propulsion Plant low and medium voltage support systems, and as the Force Nuclear Propulsion Electrical Assistant. Elwell was the principal technical advisor with electrical and safety issues on nuclear aircraft carriers. Rick has trained many students, including nuclear engineers and commanding officers on the safe operations of a propulsion plant and electrical systems. Post-Naval career, Elwell has developed technical/safety training courses as a consultant providing customized procedures and policies for clients. He is also a qualified outreach instructor for the OSHA 10 and 30 Hour General Industry courses.
Koziczynski is a Board Certified Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician (OHST) as well as a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST). He previously worked for 7 years in food manufacturing. During this time, he held positions pertaining to food health and safety regulations and training for the adult learner. The past 3 years he was the safety manager for a food co-packing manufacturer where he refined his skills in lockout-tagout, electrical safety, and hazard communication. Koziczynski graduated from Benedictine University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Brandon has over 10 years of well diversified experience in the electrical and mechanical fields. He has installed, repaired and maintained critical assets around the globe including catalytic oxidizers, laser systems and production equipment. Through years of machine troubleshooting, Brandon has gained extensive knowledge that translates into his ability to develop detailed safety procedures and provide top notch training. Brandon recently became a Board Certified Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician (OHST). Brandon is now serving as Project Manager for LP Management Services.
Frank is a 9 year veteran of the Navy’s nuclear power program, having served as a Machinist’s Mate and First Level Supervisor. Frank gained considerable experience in the operation and maintenance of various mechanical systems including steam, water, air and radioactive systems. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management and is Lean Sigma 6 Green Belt certified. Frank now works as a Lead Technician with LP Management and specializes in Lockout Tagout procedure development and mechanical training.
Steve has worked in the EHS field for over ten years. He has operational and safety experience in a variety of industries including utilities, pharmaceutical, steel manufacturing, food processing, as well as government and military facilities. Steve holds certifications in safety management, confined space, lockout tagout and first aid response. This experience alongside a genuine love to always keep learning and teaching, allows Steve to provide world class service to LP Management’s clients as one of our Lead Technicians.
Williams is a Board Certified Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician (OHST). He is a 12 year veteran of the US Navy Submarine Force and is currently a Chief Electrician’s Mate in the Navy Reserve. Landon is a highly decorated instructor from the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program and is a qualified Master Training Specialist specializing in electrical theory, operations, and troubleshooting.
Anthony is a ten year Veteran of the US Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Program where he served as an electrician, instructor, and Chief Petty Officer gaining invaluable experience in safety as well as a wide breadth of technical expertise. After the Navy, he attended West Virginia University for Multidisciplinary Studies and was appointed Director of Development at West Virginia Wesleyan College allowing him to fine tune his instructional and educational experience.
With four years as a Navy Nuclear Electronics Technician aboard the USS Harry S. Truman, Ryan honed his troubleshooting skills in high-pressure environments. His exceptional technical expertise earned him the Navy Achievement Medal. Prior to his military service, he spent over eight years in residential construction, overseeing projects and providing hands-on training. Now, as part of the LP team, Ryan’s diverse experiences and dedication contribute to project success.
