Lockout Tagout Training for the Authorized or Affected Employee
Inherent dangers exist when performing maintenance on equipment. The proper use of safety equipment and knowledge on how to isolate and de-energize equipment prior to work is absolutely essential for all maintenance personnel. Employers are required to provide training to the authorized employees prior to a lockout ever being applied. This Lockout Tagout training program will provide the student with the information needed to comply with the latest OSHA and company specific requirements in isolation of hazardous energies. The latest technology, standards, and materials are presented and demonstrated.
Course Length: 2 to 8 Contact Hours (depending on Authorized or Affected employee designation and level of exposures)
